Joy Awards 2023 Best Sportsman for Achraf Hakimi in Riyadh for his heroic actions at the 2022 World Cup

The Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi received the Best Sportsman award at the Joy Awards 2023 in Riyadh for his valiant efforts at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, according to a post on Instagram by the personal blog Toronto Muslims (16,800 followers). He took up the prize with his mother and best supporter, Sadia Mouth, in a touching gesture.
